The verdict, before the spec sheet
It mates a US plug to Type C, G and I outlets and carries phone-class USB. It does not convert 230V to 120V, and it does not deliver USB-C Power Delivery at laptop wattage. Everything below comes from published specifications, plug-standard references and the certification marks on the housing, per our disclosure page; nobody flew anywhere to write it.

Note what is absent: no published per-port wattage split, no PPS claim, no EPR. That absence is the honest reading of the product, not an oversight on our part.
What it's genuinely good at
The pass-through socket is the real feature. Plug your own 65W GaN brick into it and the trip is solved — the strategy our travel hub recommends.
Four shapes covers a lot of ground. Type C handles most of continental Europe and seats in Swiss and Italian sockets; G covers the UK, Ireland, Singapore, Malaysia and the UAE; I covers Australia, New Zealand, Argentina and mainland China.
Fusing and a spare. A user-replaceable fuse is the right design for a device jammed into unfamiliar wiring.
Where it falls short
The built-in USB is phone-class, shared. Every port draws on one small internal supply. Nothing here approaches the 65W class a laptop wants, or triggers Samsung Super Fast Charging 2.0, which needs a PPS profile nobody in this category publishes.
It is not a converter. Dual-voltage devices — every phone, laptop, tablet and camera charger made this decade — are fine; a 120V-only hair dryer on 230V is a burning smell. See travel adapter vs converter.
Four shapes is not all shapes. South Africa's Type M and India's older large-pin Type D are outside the set — check South Africa and India.
Weight in the wall. Loaded with a brick it is heavy for a loose European socket; one-country trips want a flat adapter.

Will the EPICKA adapter charge my laptop?
Not from its own USB ports. Plug your laptop's own charger into the pass-through AC socket — it is already dual-voltage.
Does a universal travel adapter convert 230V to 120V?
No. It is a plug adapter, not a voltage converter. Anything marked 100-240V is fine; a single-voltage heating appliance is not.
Which countries are not covered by the four plug shapes?
South Africa's Type M and India's large-pin Type D sit outside the A/C/G/I set, and some sockets are too recessed for a bulky adapter body.
Is the USB-C port on it fast?
Treat it as phone-class unless the listing publishes a PD profile ladder; the total is shared across every port.
