Who should skip Zendure
Skip the Passport if you travel to one country repeatedly — a $10 plug adapter plus a charger you already own is lighter and cheaper. Skip it if you need maximum watts per dollar at a desk, where HyperJuice and UGREEN win outright. Does a Zendure Passport convert voltage?
No. It changes the plug shape and passes mains voltage through. That is all a laptop, phone or camera charger needs, because those are dual-voltage 100–240V devices. Heating appliances still require a true converter.
Can a Passport charge a laptop abroad?
A 65W-class Passport charges any ultrabook or MacBook Air at full speed. A 14-inch or 16-inch MacBook Pro will charge, but below its fast-charge rate unless you carry a higher-output adapter.
What is the difference between Zendure's charger and a plain travel adapter?
A plain travel adapter only reshapes the pins; you still need a USB charger to plug into it. Zendure builds the USB-C Power Delivery electronics into the adapter body, so it is one object instead of two.
Do power banks count against airline rules?
